Welcome to the 2018 Witham Puppet Festival
Witham Town Council is delighted to present the annual Puppet Festival. A fantastic day is planned for you with something for everyone to enjoy, all presented in the areas in and around the Grove Shopping Centre, the Newlands Centre, the High Street, the Cofunds Car Park and Witham Library.
The theme of this year's Puppet Festival is 'Wild and Wonderful’ - come and look out for spectacular colourful Dragons, see if you can spot some Fabulous Flamingos and watch out for some walking Trees! You might even find a Dinosaur if you look very carefully, be sure to have your cameras ready….
Younger Children can enjoy a full programme of storytelling throughout the day in the Library – come and meet the hilarious Bookworms and listen to some entertaining tales in the Shed of Stories.
Free Craft workshops are taking place all day in The Grove Centre, head for the stalls by the Oak Tree and see what your children can create. |
